AT&T Van drives around Tucson Neighborhood

We found this weird van marked with an AT&T logo driving around a Tucson neighborhood. This AT&T truck drove up and down each street in the neighborhood, then went on to the next neighborhood. It is difficult to see in these photos, but there are a bunch of black things on the roof of this van. The black things are some kind of camera we must assume, so is this some kind of new Google Earth type mapping project, only called AT&T Earth?

As part of AT&T’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with the best wireless experience possible, our technicians routinely conduct drive tests--which is what is pictured here-–to ensure the maximum performance of our network.
